Once we started managing the wild fruit trees in the Wolmyeondong hills, they began to bear fruit. The trees had been unable to bear fruit until then, because of unnecessary surrounding bushes, grass and weeds that blocked them from receiving sunlight.  After we removed the weeds, the sunlight was able to shine upon the trees and therefore, they started to produce wild grapes, wild vines, gooseberries and akebias. Should I tell you more about this story?

Originally, the akebia tree wasn’t bearing akebias so I decided that I would cut it down. The Holy Son said, “Before you cut it down, you should first fulfill your responsibilities of caring for the tree. If it still does not bear fruit even then, you should judge it at that time.” So I asked him, “Should I fertilize it?” but the Holy Son replied, “Remove the weeds.”

I removed all the weeds surrounding the akebia tree to enable the tree to receive sunlight. Soon after, flowers bloomed and later fruit was produced too. I happily picked and ate the akebia fruit. At that time the Holy Son said, “Don’t simply eat the fruit, but realize the revelation that I am giving to you about how to manage lives in the same way.”

For lives too, when I removed the weeds that were in their heart, the sunlight of the Holy Son’ shone through so they were able to bear the fruit of faith and fruit of the spirit. Likewise, there were azeleas on either side of the road at Mt. Gamram, but the flowers weren’t blooming. So I originally said, “It’s too bad,” and I was going to simply cut them down. Instead of that, I trimmed the surrounding grass so the trees were exposed to the sunlight. After I did that, the flowers finally bloomed.

In this way, you have to uncover the shaded lives to allow the light of the Holy Son and the Lord to shine on them. Only then will the flowers of life bloom. Life is about managing. Neither people nor plants should be in be in the shade.

월명동 동산의 야생 과일나무들도 관리하니, 열매를 맺기 시작했습니다.

숲속에 있으니 햇빛을 못 받아서 그동안 열매를 맺지 못한 것이었습니다.

그곳의 잡초를 제거하여 햇빛이 들어오게 해 주니,

‘산포도, 산머루, 다래, 으름 열매’가 열리기 시작했습니다.
이 사연을 이야기해 줄까요?

처음에 <으름 나무>에 ‘으름’이 안 열린다고,

나는 이 나무를 베 버리겠다고 했습니다.

성자는 “네가 해 줄 것을 해 주고,

그때도 열매를 안 열면 심판해야지.” 하셨습니다.
그래서 “퇴비를 할까요?” 했더니, 성자는 “잡초를 제거해 줘.” 하셨습니다.

으름 나무 주변의 잡초를 제거하니, 나무가 햇빛을 보기 시작했습니다.

그러니 꽃이 피었고, 이내 열매가 열렸습니다.
나는 그 으름 열매를 따 먹으며 좋아했습니다.

이때 성자는 “열매만 따 먹지 말고,

생명을 이같이 관리하라는 나의 계시를 깨달아라.” 하셨습니다.

생명들도 잡초 같은 마음을 제거해 주어 ‘성자 태양빛’이 들게 하니,

‘신앙의 열매, 영의 열매’를 열기 시작했습니다.
감람산 길 양쪽에 <철쭉>이 있는데 ‘꽃’이 안 피어서 “아깝다.” 했습니다.

베 버리려다가 안 베고, 주변의 ‘풀’을 깎아 주고

‘나무의 그늘’을 제거해 주었습니다. 그러니 꽃이 피었습니다.

이와 같이 그늘이 진 생명들을 앞으로 끌어내어

‘성자 빛, 주의 빛’이 들게 해야 됩니다. 그래야 ‘생명의 꽃’이 핍니다.
‘관리’입니다. <사람>이고 <식물>이고 그늘이 지면 안 됩니다.
