This happened when I was fulfilling the Will through a cultural exchange while preaching the gospel of this time period in Europe in 1999.
At that time, I was able to visit Duomo Church in Milan, Italy, which was an internationally famous church, for the first time.
Duomo Church in Milan is a big church, 157 m in height and 92m in width.
When I saw it with my own eyes, it was more majestic, beautiful, and mysterious than what I had imagined.
The outside wall and roof of the church were like pillars of frost.
I clearly realized that it was truly God’s design and artwork.

What do you think I thought and said to myself upon seeing the church?

I said, “This church is beautiful, magnificent, majestic, and mysterious,
but the Natural Temple, which God has designed in my hometown Wolmyeongdong in this time period, is
much more majestic, magnificent, mysterious, and beautiful.”
I also said, “If I could take and carry the Natural Temple of the Holy Land,
I would bring it with me and would want to show it to people.”

Wolmyeongdong has bigger and more majestic rocks, mountains and water, the Lawn and flowers, the medicinal spring, a soccer field within the temple,
the house that I live in, hiking courses, an octagonal gazeboes, a lake, and Providence members gathering like clouds instead of tourists.
It is a place where tens of thousands of people can sit and observe service and a place with good air, good mountains, and good water… 
It’s majestic and beautiful, isn’t it?

I am sure that you too, instead of being envious upon seeing other big churches,
you want to boast and say that we have a much more magnificent, beautiful, and majestic church.
Am I right?

It was truly mysterious to see the bricks sculpted sharply like a knife and set upright [in the Duomo Church.]
I was surprised to see the sculptures.
I told Jesus that it is such a grand piece of art and kept asking Him,
“How could they have sculpted the hard rocks in detail and set them upright in a time period when they didn’t even have cranes?”
However there was no answer or realization in my heart.

When I went up to the rooftop of the church and saw it closely, it was bigger and more majestic.
At that time, people had drawn curtains around a a sculpture to fix it, and they were working behind the curtains.
I drew the curtains open to see how they were fixing it, but the workers had gone to lunch so no one was there.
I looked within and was surprised when I found out how they did it.
I wasn’t the only one who was surprised, other tourists saw it too, and all the mystery of the sculptures being set upright like frozen pillars disappeared.
Why?
They were building the inside with red bricks, and on the surface on top of the bricks, they attached rocks that they cut.
When I was imagining it,  they sculpted and set up rocks that were solid to the core, and I thought it was majestic and mysterious.
However, after seeing how they made one piece of the sculpture, I found out everything. 

Rocks in Wolmyeongdong are solid rocks that are 70~80 tons.
There are pine trees that are 100 years, 200 years old and surrounded by green pastures. 

<Ever greater>

Gazebos are great
Pine trees are great
Water is great
Rocks and hills too
But great they are
When here they’re seen,
Human beings
Even greater

Did you enjoy [the poem] and realize its meaning?
I really like it because it’s God’s masterpiece, but I am saying that I like people who realize the time period and come even more.

Next is the poem that I wrote upon seeing Wolmyeong Lake, the house I used to live in, Ambitious Masterpiece, and the lawn temple from the temple court.
 

<The Natural Temple>

Ambitious Masterpiece          You and I                             cleanly  managing               I hear
No matter                             gather the body and heart      day and night                    a voice from Heaven
How much I look                     God has created us             Providence descendants         when you use it
You are majestic                     If we tell                             for a long long thousand years          loving me
Beautiful                                 every story of                     must use together               you'll see wonders
Mysterious                             long long years                   for They made this place           use it valuably
No matter who sees                our tongue will dry up          to be used to save lives                 and happily
No, you are not                      the land will dampen            with gratification                          your body is
A body who just can pass by  with your tears of joy            and satisfactorily                             the same
You're a masterpiece made     giving thanks
According to God’s design       being loving
You must use yourself

1999년 유럽에서 이 시대 복음을 전하며 문화 교류를 하며 뜻을 펼 때였습니다.

그때 세계적인 성전, 이탈리아 밀라노에 있는 두오모 성당을 처음으로 가보게 되었습니다.

밀라노 두오모 성당은 높이 157m, 너비 92m의 거대한 성당입니다.

눈으로 직접 보니 생각보다 웅장하고 아름답고 신비했습니다.

성당 외각 벽과 지붕은 마치 서릿발 같았습니다.

역시 하나님의 구상이고 작품임을 확실하게 깨달았습니다.

이 성당을 보고 무슨 생각을 하고, 혼자 무슨 말을 했겠습니까?

이 성전도 아름답고 멋있고 웅장하고 신비하지만,

하나님이 이 시대 내 고향 월명동에 구상하신 자연성전이

훨씬 웅장하고 멋있고 신비하고 아름답다고 말했습니다.

그리고 성지땅 자연성전을 가지고 다닐 수만 있다면,

가지고 다니며 사람들에게 보여주고 싶다고 말했습니다.

더 크고 웅장한 돌들이 있고, 산과 물, 잔디밭과 꽃, 약수 샘, 성전 안의 축구장,

내가 사는 집, 등산 길, 팔각정, 호수, 구름같이 모여드는 관광객이 아닌 섭리인들,

수만 명씩 예배드리고 앉을 수 있는 곳, 공기 좋고 산 좋고 물 좋은 곳 월명동...

얼마나 웅장하고 아름답습니까?

여러분들도 다른 큰 교회들을 보고 부러워하기보다

우리는 훨씬 더 멋있고 아름답고 웅장한 성전이 있다고 자랑하며 말해주고 싶을 것입니다.

그렇지 않습니까?

돌을 칼날같이 조각하여 세운 것을 보고 참으로 신비하였습니다.

그 조각에 놀랐습니다.

예수님께 정말 예술이라고 말하며

‘크레인도 없었던 시대에 어찌 저리 단단한 돌을 세밀히 깎아다 세울 수가 있었을까요?

어떻게 저 뾰족하고 큰 조각들을 지붕까지 올렸을까요?’

하며 계속 물었습니다.

그러나 대답도 없었고, 마음에 깨달음도 없었습니다.

성당 꼭대기 지붕으로 올라가 가까이에서 보니 더 크고 웅장했습니다.

마침 그때 조각 하나를 보수하느라 막을 쳐놓고 그 속에서 작업을 하고 있을 때였습니다.

어떻게 하는지 틈을 벌리고 보니, 때마침 일하는 자들이 점심식사를 하러 가고 아무도 없었습니다.

안을 들여다보았는데 어떻게 하는지 보고 알게 되니 놀랐습니다.

나뿐만 아니라 관광객들도 그것을 보고 서릿발같이 세운 조각들의 신비가 다 사라져버렸습니다.

왜일까요?

속은 빨간 벽돌로 쌓고, 겉만 돌을 깎아서 그 위에 붙이고 있었습니다.

속까지 통돌로 깎아다 세운 것으로 생각했을 때는 웅장하고 신비하다고 하였습니다.

어떻게 만들었는지 하나의 조각을 보고 다 알아버렸습니다.

월명동 돌은 70-80톤의 완전한 통돌입니다.

100년 200년 된 소나무들도 있고, 푸른 동산이 둘러싸여 있습니다.

솔도좋고

물도좋고

좋건마는

여기오는

사람들이

더좋구나

감상하고 뜻을 깨달았어요?

하나님의 대작품이라 좋고 좋건만, 시대를 깨닫고 찾아오는 사람이 더 좋다는 말입니다.

다음은 성전 마당에서 월명호와 생가 야심작, 잔디밭 성전을 보고 쓴 시입니다.

<자연성전>

야심작아 너와나와 깨끗하게 하늘에서

보고봐도 몸과마음 불철주야 들려온다

보울수록 모아서로 관리하며 나와같이

웅장하고 하나님이 섭리후손 사랑하며

아름답고 만드셨다 길이길이 써야만이

신비하다 긴긴세월 쳔년동안 표적보며

누가봐도 사연들을 모두같이 가치있게

한번보고 말하려면 써야한다 기뻐하며

스쳐갈몸 혓바닥에 생명구원 쓸수있다

아니로다 침마르고 시키려고 너의몸도

하나님이 감격눈물 만든대로 이러하다

구상하신 땅젖는다 보람있고

작품이라 감사하며 만족하게

이러하다 사랑하며 써야한다
