When Pastor Jung Myeong Seok was developing his hometown Wolmyeongdong into the Natural Temple, he did not develop it according to his own thoughts but instead he prayed deeply and received Heaven’s design.

When he developed Wolmyeongdong, at first, God, the Holy Spirit and the Holy Son didn’t tell him the details but just inspired him, saying, “Buy the land.” Wolmyeongdong before development was a land thick with weeds and smelly from rotting vegetation.

Also, because the valley was too narrow, to the point that the front hill and the back hill would touch, when he passed through with loads of firewood, the A-shape carrier would get stuck between the two hills.

After hearing [God] tell me to buy the land of Wolmyeongdong, he thought, “There is not even land to farm on. What do God, the Holy Spirit and the Holy Son intend to do here?” He thought about various things. However, since it was God’s Word, he began to buy up the land in Wolmyeongdong a little at a time. Since he did not have money, he bought small pieces of land like a sick person  picking at his food. While doing that, he bought the land over a period of 15 years.

If he had known God’s plan for Wolmyeongdong at that time, he would even have taken out loans and bought the land at once like a person gulping down water. However, at that time [God] only inspired him but did not tell him what it was about. So he did [what he did] because he did not know. God takes action in secret. If others knew about it, they would oppose and try to thwart God’s plans. So He reveals what He does only to the person of mission, the person who will do that work, by secretly inspiring him and letting him know.

God does not do things by force but He works by reason and through giving inspiration so that people will know. God does not reveal everything first, but instead He secretly inspires us and gradually takes action on His plan.

정명석 목사가 자신의 고향 월명동을 자연성전으로 개발할 때

자신의 생각대로 하지 않고 깊이 기도하여

하늘의 구상을 받아 개발하였습니다.

그러나 처음에 하나님과 성령님과 성자께서 <내용>은 말씀하지 않으시고,

<감동>만 주시며 “땅을 사라.” 하셨습니다.

개발하기 전의 월명동은 잡초가 절은 땅이었고,

썩어서 냄새가 나는 곳이었습니다.

또 골짜기가 너무 좁아서

나뭇짐을 지고 가면 지게가

앞산과 뒷산에 걸릴 정도였습니다.

앞산과 뒷산이 맞닿아 있을 만큼 좁았습니다.

정명석 목사는 월명동 땅을 사라는 말씀을 듣고,

농사 지을 땅도 없는데

하나님과 성령님과 성자는 여기에 무엇을 하려고 하실까,

여러 가지 생각을 하였습니다.

그러나 하나님의 말씀이니,

정명석 목사는 월명동 땅을 조금씩 샀습니다.

돈이 없으니,

마치 아픈 사람이 깨작깨작 밥을 먹듯이 조금씩 샀는데,

15년 동안 사게 되었습니다.

처음부터 정명석 목사가

<월명동을 향한 하나님의 계획>을 알았다면

빚을 내서라도 물을 마시듯 한꺼번에 샀겠지만,

성삼위께서 그때는 <감동>만 주셨지,

<내용>을 말씀하지 않으셔서 몰라서 그리하였습니다.

이처럼 하나님은 은밀하게 행하십니다.

다른 사람들이 알면 반대하고 <하나님의 계획>이 틀어지니,

‘사명자, 그 일을 할 대상자’에게만

은밀하게 <감동>을 주고 알리며 점점 행하십니다.

하나님은 ‘무력’으로 역사하지 않으시고

‘순리’로 역사하시며 사람들이 알도록 <감동>을 주십니다.
내용 먼저 말씀 하지 않으시고

은밀하게 <감동>을 주고

점진적으로 행하시는 삼위를 온전히 깨달아야 하겠습니다.
