For a long time, Pastor Jung Myeong Seok lived a life of training in his hometown, Wolmyeondong and in the surrounding mountains. During this time he received the Word of Heaven and the Will of Heaven. Mt. Gamram and Jipteo-gol of Wolmyeongdong and Mt. Daedun are places where he prayed and sought God for 21 years. They are places that have stories about God, the Holy Spirit and the Holy Son.

After those stories happened, in 1978, he left the rice paddies and all those places, except that one house with a tin roof where his family used to live, he left for Seoul to declare the Word of the time period that he had received from God and the Holy Son. His parents and all his brothers left that place too.

The front yard of the house they left behind became overgrown with weeds. The mud brick walls of the old house even broke down. The hills and fields where he had gone frequently became thick with weeds and thistles. The persimmon trees did not produce much fruit, and whatever fruit they produced was very small. That valley became truly desolate and lonesome.

He returned to see it in the 1980s, in early autumn. Mt. Gamram, Jipteo-gol, and the mountain paths he used to travel to collect firewood were choked with weeds and thistles, so he could not even pass through. It was indeed a very desolate and lonely valley.

However, because Wolmyeongdong is a place that has deep stories with God, the Holy Spirit and the Holy Son, when the time came, God had a new design for that place. Through evangelism and preaching the Word of the time period, a crowd formed, and when it reached a certain size, God made him develop Wolmyeongdong into he natural temple and started making a history of deep stories in Wolmyeongdong.

When it comes to the deeds of the Almighty, you don’t know them at first. God, the Holy Spirit and the Holy Son take action in such a way that even the owner of the story does not know. Then when the time comes, They tell the owner of the story seriously about it, and by teaching him and letting him realize, They make him do meaningful work in that place and let him carry out the history of the Trinity’s story with his followers. Ultimately, in Wolmyeongdong that has deep stories God had the natural temple built according to His design.

All of the trails where he used to carry wood and sing praises exalting God, the Holy Spirit and the Holy Son in the old days became promenades within the Natural Temple or roads for the vehicles traveling back and forth to Wolmyeongdong.

정명석 목사는 하늘의 말씀과 뜻을 받기 위해 태어난 고향 월명동과

그 주변의 산에서 오랫동안 수도생활을 해 왔습니다.
월명동의 감람산과 집터골, 그리고 대둔산은 정명석 목사가

21년 동안 하나님을 찾으며 기도하던 곳으로

‘하나님과 성령님과 성자와의 사연이 있는 곳’입니다.

그 사연이 있은 후 1978년, 정명석 목사는 그곳의 논과 환경을

다 내던지고 가족이 살던 함석집 한 채만 두고, 하나님과 성자께 받은

<시대 말씀>을 전하려고 서울로 떠났습니다. 

그의 부모도 형제들도 다 그곳을 떠났습니다.

두고 간 집 마당에는 잡초가 커서 무성했고,

흙벽돌로 지은 헌 집은 그나마 벽이 무너졌고,
정명석 목사가 다니던 산과 밭에는 잡초와 엉겅퀴가 무성했으며

감나무에는 감도 열리지 않았고, 열렸어도 크기가 작았습니다.

월명동의 골짜기는 정말 외롭고 쓸쓸했습니다.

그러다 정명석 목사가 1980년대 초 가을에 다시 와 봤는데,

감란산과 집터골, 나무를 하러 다니던 산길에는 잡초와 엉겅퀴가

꽉 절어서 다닐 수가 없었습니다.
역시 너무도 외롭고 쓸쓸한 골짜기였습니다.

그런데 월명동은 <하나님, 성령님, 성자와의 사연이 있는 곳>이라서

때가 되니 하나님은 그곳을 ‘새롭게 구상’하셨습니다.
그리고 ‘시대 말씀’을 전하며 생명들을 전도하여 어느 정도의 무리가

형성되니, 하나님은 정명석 목사를 통해 월명동을 ‘자연성전’으로

개발하게 하시며 월명동에 <사연 역사>를 펴기 시작하셨습니다.

전능자의 행하심은 처음에는 알지 못합니다.
하나님과 성령님과 성자는 ‘사연의 주인’까지도 모르게 행하십니다.
그러다 <때>가 되면, ‘사연의 주인’에게 진지하게 말씀하시며

가르쳐 주고 깨우쳐 주면서, 그곳에 ‘뜻 있는 일’을 행하게 하시고

따르는 자들과 함께 <삼위일체의 사연 역사>를 펴 나가게 하십니다.
결국 하나님은 <사연이 있는 월명동>에 하나님의 구상대로

‘자연성전’이 건축되게 하셨습니다.

옛날 정명석 목사가 나무를 지고 다니며 하나님과 성령님과 성자께

영광 돌리며 찬양했던 길은 모두 ‘자연성전 안의 산책로’가 되었고,

혹은 ‘월명동을 오고 가는 차가 다니는 차로’가 되었습니다.
