The day before yesterday, there was an accident that almost killed someone during work.
We were trying to use a motor to release water into the pond,
when an eight-ton rock fell as the excavator was lifting it and rolled down.
I did not notice a person there; he was an inch away from death.
He was about a hand’s length away from the rock.
This kind of accident happens frequently,
but you shouldn’t just thoughtlessly say “God will naturally help me.”
Of course, God protects until the end.
However, people wouldn’t do things in such a way if they had known.
It is all because of [their] ignorance.
Later that day, the person who was escaped from the death brought all his money even though he was poor,
offering 100% of what he had.
He said, “I was out of my mind a few hours ago. Now I only feel thankful for being alive.”
In most cases, people only realize that God helped them after they get shocked.
From the New Year’s service message on January 1, 1999
