Wolmyeongdong is a gift given by God. It is a great inheritance, which the Lord, the Teacher and we have developed and will pass on to our children. It is the pride of Providence and a spiritual home for all of us. In Wolmyeongdong where we had laughed, cried and ran together with the Teacher, the Teacher sometimes would say that life is paving the road and would make trails along the ridges of mountains and the places where he had prayed and struggled.

There once was a time when we followed unconditionally wherever the Teacher went just because we liked the Lord, we liked the Providence and we liked the Teacher. However, even though we had beautiful memories of being together with the Lord and the Teacher, we go to our physical hometown at least once or twice a year but live forgetting our spiritual home on the pretext of being busy. We forget many things as we live in increasingly competitive times.

We might be living forgetting about our parents who have given birth to us, about the spiritual family who has evangelized us, about the Teacher who has taught us the Words of Life, and about Jesus who was crucified for us. We might be living forgetting them at certain moments and don’t even know it. The teacher has said that if you walk on the paths I walked and remember the Lord, then it would be very good for your health as well.

Have you and your children drifted apart because you were busy? Has the love between you and your spouse grown cold? If your whole family holds each other’s hands and walks on the path the Lord, the Teacher and you have walked together, then you will be able to share a close bond of love with each other. Beloved everyone, the Lord is waiting to go on a journey with you. I hope every single one of you will visit Wolmyeongdong during the month of May and grab a chance to find memories and the first love that you have lost.
